To give thanks is to recognize what has come to you.... How does the seed give thanks? It flowers. You take what you have, who you are, and you respond to the gift of that beingness with a course of action that aligns with it. You do what is in your nature.
I suggest that you add a share button to your Inward/Outward daily e-mail messages and webpages so the recipents can efficently post them to their Facebook and other social media sites. It will also make others aware of Inward/Outward, which would be a good thing.
Thank you for finding this quote. It is most timely.
I love this and it kind of ties in with the simplicity theme of the other day. Sometimes I get stuck with this,,like not being "sure" I am doing what I "ought" to be then I remind myself of what these passages were encouraging..just to be yourself, simple and true and do what flows from that rather than the other way around..imposing a structure on yourself from without and then following it. That never worked for me! So I am having the courage (at least trying to!) to go the other route! :)
If only we would get past titles, job descriptions, and roles to discover the person who flowers in his own time and in his own way.
Others csannot define us totally for we are who we are.
Thank you for your post. It ministers into my life as I transition from one 'title & role' into another. I am reminded that it is not about the title; but rather, solely serving God whole heartedly on the the new path of where I am being taken.
