Do not call it
a loss--
rather,
a silent space--
a signature
in the sediment
becoming ground
you rest upon.

    Does this speak to the great interior silence one experiences after the loss of a loved one. That stillness that is so holy.

    I wondered too about what loss is being referred to..I guess it is up to the reader but I also went to loss of a loved one. I have experienced a lot of that so this was very comforting and deep.
